What Is the “NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade”?
USJ Summer Parade: Prepare to Get Soaked
The popular NO LIMIT! Parade gets a wild summer makeover — now with non-stop water splashing action! Entertainers perform with pool floats, parasols, and hula hoops, all while spraying water like crazy using squirt guns, buckets, and more.
As the parade moves through the streets, you’ll be hit by water from every direction — from the floats, the buildings, the front stage, and even the dancers’ water guns. Expect to be soaked from head to toe — Yes — even your socks and underwear might get soaked!
Massive amounts of water, like something out of a firetruck hose, rain down on both guests and performers. It’s common to see people wringing out their clothes after the parade ends!
Featured Characters in 2025
New for 2025, fan-favorite duo My Melody and Kuromi will be joining the parade for the first time! They’ll appear alongside water-type Pokémon like Gyarados and Marill, Nintendo icons like Mario, and other classic USJ characters including the Minions and the stars of Sing.
Parade Route & Best Viewing Spots
Full Parade Route Map & Starting Point
Source: usj.co.jp
The parade begins in the pathway between the Hollywood and New York areas — near Space Fantasy: The Ride (XR Ride) and the Detective Conan 4-D Live Show. It makes a full loop through the Hollywood area before returning to the New York area, passing through Gramercy Park and ending near Louise’s N.Y. Pizza Parlor. The route follows the same path as the regular NO LIMIT! Parade.
USJ Splash Zones: Wet vs Dry Spots
Not all spots along the parade route are the same. Some areas will leave you absolutely soaked, while others offer a more comfortable (but still exciting) view with less water. USJ has designated four different zones, each with varying splash levels. Whether you’re eager to get drenched or hoping to stay mostly dry, where you stand really matters. Below, we’ll break down each area along the route so you can choose the perfect spot based on your personal splash tolerance!
Name | Water Level | Location | Ticket Required |
---|---|---|---|
360° Soak Zone | Very High | Gramercy Park | ¥2,100 (until Aug 20) |
Soak Zone | High | Near Mel’s Drive-In and parts of Gramercy Park | Free |
Wet Zone | Moderate | From Space Fantasy: The Ride area to the front of the Doraemon 4-D Art Adventure | Free |
Little Kids’ Area | Minimal | In front of Hollywood Dream – The Ride | Free |
360° Soak Zone
If you want to go all out and get completely soaked at the NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade, the 360° Soak Zone! Special Area (paid admission) is your best bet. You’ll be surrounded on all sides by every character in the parade, with water flying in from all directions — the front stage, building rooftops, parade floats, and even dancers armed with water guns. You’ll be drenched head to toe — shoes and all!
Soak Zone
The Soak Zone will get you completely drenched. Massive amounts of water spray down from rooftops, and when the floats stop, they blast the crowd with even more water. You can expect to get soaked all the way through — even your underwear won’t be spared.
To protect your valuables like smartphones and cameras, make sure to seal them in waterproof bags or cases. We also recommend keeping your belongings in plastic bags to keep everything dry.
Wet Zone
The Wet Zone offers a good balance of fun and splash. While you won’t get completely soaked like in the 360° Soak Zone, you’ll still experience plenty of water action. Sprinklers spray from the rooftops, and characters and entertainers on the floats use water shooters to splash the crowd. Crew members on the street also spray water, so depending on where you stand, you can still get pretty wet.
Little Kids’ Area
This is a special area for young children aged 6 and under. It’s enclosed with safety barriers so kids can enjoy getting soaked in a secure environment. The area is part of the Soak Zone and features intense splashing — please be prepared to get thoroughly wet. Capacity is limited and entry will close once it’s full. Adults are not allowed to enter alone but may accompany a child.
Are There Any Dry Spots?
Most of the parade route includes splash zones, so fully dry areas are quite limited. If you prefer not to get wet, we recommend standing in one of the following locations:
From the parade starting point to around the entrance of the Detective Conan 4-D Theater
Under the covered arcade area (the canopy)
From just past the former Spider-Man attraction to the parade’s endpoint
These spots are generally outside the main splash zones, so there’s a lower chance of getting wet.
The Wet Zones will get your clothes wet — especially around Space Fantasy: The Ride, where the splashing is particularly intense.

Store your backpack or any non-essential items in a locker before the parade.
Your feet will get soaked, so consider bringing a spare pair of socks.
